One of the latest ways to increase traffic to your website is to offer a free e-book (electronic book).  Anyone with their own PC can publish their own book(s) easily and inexpensively.  When writing your own e-book, you will naturally do it on your PC, so what you are creating is a computer file.    This has the effect of streamlining the whole operation.  There is no paper required, no printer, no agent nor publisher  --  just you and your faithful PC.  Alternately, there are websites available dedicated to providing free e-books to download.

If you are offering e-book(s) for free download on your website, to attract traffic as part of an internet marketing plan for your website, it is very easy for viewers to click and download the file.  Your site will be long remembered for providing useful, interesting (and FREE) information.

Everyone loves something for nothing, even the very wealthy.  And today’s consumers are always hungry for information, and they want it right now.  By providing your e-books free and fast you are satisfying that need. 

From the providers point of view, you never have to re-stock, or worry about running out of stock of your book.  Or worry about distribution or delivery dates.  The overheads are very low, as there is no office to maintain, no staff to worry about, and if you are charging, a fully automated payment and delivery system which needs very little maintaining.  When you think about it like that, it really is the perfect business.

You have doubtless seen the re-hashed advertisements all over the web, trying to sell the same information you saw last week, just re-packaged.  Sometimes it seems that every other website is trying to sell the same type of product.  There are ways to get over this.

Why?

One of the key online tenets is multiple income streaming.  In other words, make sure you have many ways income comes to you.  Maybe from three different e-books (for which your visitors pay), plus fees from advertisers, and related products.

Both fiction and non fiction are highly sought after.  E-books could be the key to unlocking your fortune.
